Set on 54 hectares, this family-run spot can boast more than 40 years of experience and three generations of market gardeners. They harvest a wide range of regionally grown produce: strawberries, rhubarb, lettuce, summer vegetables, berries, flowers, and even pumpkins as Halloween approaches, depending on the season. Here, there are no fixed promises: the basket is assembled according to the natural calendar, which is part of the charm of the visit.

The Cueillette de la Croix Verte is committed to a reasoned and sustainable agriculture, with small, interlaced plots that foster biodiversity. Wildlife and flora have their place there, while the plastic mulches used are biodegradable. A tangible way to raise awareness among kids and adults about seasonality, far from the overly pristine aisles of supermarkets.
