Carnaval 2025, costume parade and soapbox race, Videlles (91)

In March and April, many towns in the Île-de-France region celebrate their Carnival with a huge costume parade: from Thiais (94) to Parmain (95), via Isle-Adam (95) and Bineau in Ville-du-Bois (91), there's plenty of opportunity to dress up and party every weekend or so, in time for spring.

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Videlles, in the Essonne region of France, is the date for a colorful day of festivities. This year's carnival will feature the colors of the United States, so it's up to you to bring out your best costume, accessories and make-up to match the theme specially designed for the2025 edition! And that's not all: after the carnival, the first edition of a soapbox racewill also be held in Videlles, starting at 1:30 p.m., following the carnival parade with music, scheduled from 11 a.m. onwards.

The program for Carnaval de Videlles 2025:

• 10 to 11 a.m.: soapboxes set up
• 11 a.m.: start of the parade with music
• 1:30 p.m.: start of soapbox descents, followed by awards ceremony

The whole event is organized by the town's parents, and food and drink will be available on site from 11:30 am. Enjoy the carnival in Videlles!
