Want to add a little chlorophyll to your diary? You've come to the right place! From June 6 to 8, 2025, Rendez-vous aux Jardins returns to Paris and the Île-de-France region. The capital transforms itself into a life-size escape, where shows, workshops and unusual strolls take place in the alleys of discreet parks or mythical gardens. Palaces, museums and exceptional sites take up the challenge for a weekend of outdoor exploration, with a host of free activities to be enjoyed without moderation! Curious visitors, enthusiasts, families: everyone is invited to browse from one event to the next!
A must-see is theHôtel de Sully, a 17th-century marvel nestled in the heart of the Marais, a stone's throw from the Place des Vosges. Built in 1625 by financier Mesme Galet, it subsequently passed into the hands of Roland de Neufbourg and François Poussart, who gave it its current structure, between paved courtyard and French garden. The Duc de Sully, Maximilien de Béthune, acquired it in 1634, and his grandson inherited it, while the Duchess Charlotte Séguier took up residence on the second floor. Later, in the XIXᵉ century, the address would in turn house artisans, a clinic, a piano factory and a gymnasium!
Now home to the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, the Hôtel de Sully opens its gardens to the public for a weekend in the countryside worthy of the finest escapes, on the occasion of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2025.
