Rendez-vous aux Jardins is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Culture across France, a celebration of the natural and cultural heritage embedded in our beautiful French gardens. All weekend long, the public can explore both public and private gardens by taking part in guided tours, workshops, and activities (introductory sessions, demonstrations...). Come and discover the extraordinary gardens of Paris (and its suburbs), and enjoy a relaxing outing with family or friends at the next edition scheduled for June 5–7, 2026.
The Jardin des Tuileries is a royal garden created for Catherine de Médicis in the 16th century, before being transformed by André Le Nôtre for Louis XIV, between 1666 and 1680. Marked by the vicissitudes of history, the Tuileries were renovated by landscape architects Pascal Cribier and Louis Benech during the renovation of the Louvre Museum.
