Rendez-vous aux Jardins is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Culture across France, a celebration of the natural and cultural heritage embedded in our beautiful French gardens. All weekend long, the public can explore both public and private gardens by taking part in guided tours, workshops, and activities (introductory sessions, demonstrations...). Come and discover the extraordinary gardens of Paris (and its suburbs), and enjoy a relaxing outing with family or friends at the next edition scheduled for June 5–7, 2026.

The Jardin des Tuileries is a royal garden created for Catherine de Médicis in the 16th century, before being transformed by André Le Nôtre for Louis XIV, between 1666 and 1680. Marked by the vicissitudes of history, the Tuileries were renovated by landscape architects Pascal Cribier and Louis Benech during the renovation of the Louvre Museum.

The Tuileries Gardens are a must-see in Paris! This 23-hectare green space runs alongside the Rue de Rivoli and the Seine, linking the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde. Classified as a historic monument in 1914, it has also been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. It features magnificent historical statues, accompanied by works of art. [Read more]

It's a garden steeped in history, the privileged setting for great moments in French history, from the Revolution of 1789 to the Commune in 1871, but also a landscape creation from the very end of the 20th century. A veritable open-air museum, it houses copies of ancient sculptures, modern works and some of the most contemporary creations: it's here that you'll come across a reproduction of Rodin's Baiser, not to mention its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe.
