Did you know? Every year, at the beginning of June, an event that's synonymous with good deals puts culture on the green and invites us to enjoy some great outdoor outings: it's the Rendez-Vous aux Jardins. The idea is simple: over the course of a weekend, private and public gardens invite us to discover their secrets through guided tours and events for young and old alike. A concept that promises wonderful discoveries at the heart of our botanical heritage. Châteaux, museums, monuments, parks and much more will be taking part, and it's even possible to take advantage of exceptional openings in places that are usually inaccessible to the public, including major institutions. The next edition is scheduled for the weekend of June 6 to 8, 2025.
In Paris, it's a chance to (re)conquer a very special place: the Maison de Balzac. The former home of the famous writer Honoré de Balzac, author of Le Père Goriot, Les Illusions Perdues and La Peau de Chagrin, this museum, whose permanent collection is open to the public free of charge, boasts a superb garden overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Not bad, eh?
