La Nuit des Jardins at Château de Dampierre (78): three evenings of enchanting nocturnal events in the gardens

For lovers of historic splendor and evening strolls - the French gardens of Dampierre are reborn after more than two centuries! On September 18, 19 and 20, 2025, the Château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines (78) opens its alleys for La Nuit des Jardins, an exceptional event where gourmet festivities and water games come together before revealing a magical night-time enchantment .

Since its acquisition in 2018 by Franky Mulliez, the château has launched a titanic restoration project. This summer, after years of work, the basins sparkle once again, the water features gush forth and the Grand Siècle perspectives stretch out once more. More than sixty craftsmen and craftswomen rolled up their sleeves to restore the gardens' rhythm, symmetry and historic charm.

To celebrate this flourishingrenaissance, come to Dampierre for three unique evenings. Starting at 6pm, admission (€5 instead of €10) includes foodtrucks and entertainment , before the night transforms the alleys into a veritable theater of water and light. Then, at 9pm, as darkness falls, The Immersers ' nocturnal enchantment recounts thehistory of the gardens and château in an immersive staging that makes the eyes sparkle as much as the ponds.

La Nuit des Jardins precedes the European Heritage Days, offering an opportunity to stroll around the estate before its final pre-opening phase. The Grand Siècle takes root again at Château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines!
