The Nature Festival 2026 takes over the Jardin des Plantes on May 23 and 24, 2026, featuring a Nature Village, workshops, guided tours, performances, and free activities for the whole family in the heart of Paris’s 5th arrondissement.
The Fête de la Nature 2026 takes place at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2026, in the green setting of the Jardin des Plantes, in the 5e arrondissement of Paris. The program includes workshops, tastings, guided tours, shows and a large Village of Nature with free access, all free. A wonderful opportunity to enjoy a green interlude right in the heart of the capital.
This 2026 edition carries double significance: it marks the 20th edition of the Fête de la Nature and, at the same time, celebrates the 400th anniversary of the National Museum of Natural History, founded in 1626 as the Jardin royal des plantes médicinales. A historic milestone that gives this springtime gathering a special flavor.

What’s on the agenda at Nature Village?
The heart of the program is the Village de la nature, set up on the esplanade of the Jardin des Plantes, freely accessible from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on both days. The Welcome tent opens at 10 a.m. for registrations to activities by reservation. About fifteen naturalist associations will have booths there:
