How about a leisure park around Paris? These sports and leisure parks, which also include artificial beaches, are the ideal solution for sunbathing, picnicking and swimming just like at the seaside, with fun activities to boot. Parisians, here's a pleasant and inexpensive way to take a vacation close to the capital!

Do you dream of stretches of water and warm sand, of an ideal spot for a swim? There's no need to travel across France, Europe or the world to sunbathe and have fun just like at the beach: in the Paris region, leisure centers welcome you as soon as the sun comes back and until early autumn, for an impromptu day's vacation without even leaving the region.

What's on the agenda? Each leisure park offers a wide range of activities to delight young and old alike: accrobranche (tree climbing), water sports (skiing, wakeboarding, jetskiing, kayaking, canoeing...), inflatable water courses, sandy beaches for sunbathing and other swimming spots are all available in these places, perfect for a day out with family or friends.

In each département, one or more leisure centers usually open their doors in May or June, offering you a day out in the fresh air, less than an hour from Paris. On-site fast-food outlets are available, as well as picnic tables where you can enjoy a packed lunch. So pack your swimsuits, towels and sun cream (factor 50, please), and head for your nearest leisure park!
