Until September 20, 2025, the town of Chennevières-sur-Marne invites you to discover the Fort de Champigny and its history thanks to a puzzle game, freely accessible on smartphone. Come and spend an hour and a half in the heart of nature in this small Val-de-Marne town, where you'll have to solve mysteries at the heart of a heritage relic, which is usually only open to visitors on Heritage Days.
It's as simple as scanning the QR code at the small gate at the entrance to the fort! Dive into an immersive adventure at the heart of history, in 1882, alone or as part of a team, and discover how General Séré de Rivières designed this strategic fort to protect the entire region, by navigating through the secrets of its construction. Whether you're a history buff or just curious, this treasure hunt awaits you as you defend the fort against an imminent invasion!
Representative of 19th-century military architecture, the Fort de Champigny covers 4 hectares. It forms part of Paris's second fortified belt. An immersive game open daily from 9am to 5:30pm, with extra mysteries added for the JEP weekend.
