Heading for a day that evokes the fresh splash of water and good vibes: the Fête nautique 2026 of Carrières-sur-Seine, in the Yvelines (78), is making a triumphant return for a third edition on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on the banks of Quai Charles-de-Gaulle.
Here you don’t need to head out to catch the breeze: the Seine becomes the throughline of a day designed as an open-air, festive layover. On the menu, a joyful cruise through balades nautiques, and boat introductions. The creative current continues with children's workshops, to keep curiosity firmly on course.
The atmosphere also goes full tilt toward the broad open sea: concerts, costumes, and wandering punctuate this urban crossing. And to ride the wave through the day, an on-site dining option lets you drop anchor whenever you please.
For organizational reasons, Charles-de-Gaulle Quay will be closed to traffic in both directions on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The same applies to the parking side, with a prohibition on traffic and parking across the Abreuvoir car park from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
With this Fête nautique, Carrières-sur-Seine turns its riverbanks into a genuine festive port of call, where the Seine becomes a playground, a meeting place and a celebration.
