Provins is organizing its famous Harvest Festival for the 52nd time! On Sunday, August 24, 2025, it's a program you won't want to miss. Imagine a unique festival in a verdant setting in the heart of a medieval town , where you can relive the atmosphere of yesteryear at France's oldest and biggest harvest festival, this year on the theme of water! And Brittany comes to the fore with the presence of Sonerien Lann-Bihoué, former bagpipers of the French Navy's bagad.
There's a whole host of entertainment on offer: tractor and vintage vehicle parades, old-fashioned wheat threshing, traditional music and folk groups, regional produce and farmyard animals for the curious, and an exhibition at the Hôtel de Savigny, from July 12 to August 24, on the history of water in the town. There'ssomething for everyone, young and old!
In the afternoon, from 3pm onwards, don't miss the grand parade of wheat-decorated floats through the streets of the upper town, accompanied by a veritable procession. Numerous craftsmen and exhibitors will liven up the streets in traditional costumes during this rural festival, not far from the tractors on display at the foot of the ramparts and the forty or so vintage cars in the grounds of the Palais de Comtes de Champagne. Tractor baptisms are even available for children!
