Fête de la Bretagne 2025 in the 14th arrondissement of Paris: here's the program

La Fête de la Bretagne, the famous Gouel Breizh, announces its return to the 14th arrondissement of Paris. From May 16 to 25, 2025, a rich program of events awaits you (most of them free), immersing you in the rich culture of Brittany.

At the heart of this project is the Mission bretonne- Ti ar Vretoned, whose members and volunteers work hard all year round to promote Breton culture and its influence!

For this 2025 edition of the Fête de la Bretagne, the Mission bretonne is once again pulling out all the stops to meet the expectations and desires of Parisians. Fest-noz, dance, storytelling, tastings, cinema and music await you from May 16 to 25.

And let's not forget the famous Crep'Noz, scheduled for Thursday May 22 from 5pm to 11pm. For an entire evening, the Rue du Montparnasse becomes pedestrianized, allowing crêperies to bring out tables and barrels of cider on their terraces. From 7pm, join Bagad Pariz for a festive parade. On boulevard Edgar Quinet, from 5pm onwards, the curious can enjoy a range of activities (fest-deiz, dance initiation, cultural and gastronomic stands). • Friday, May 16, 2025 from 7pm to 11pm: opening party at the Mission bretonne.
  
  
• Saturday, May 17, 2025:
  • 2:00 pm: storytelling walk in the 14th district with Alain Benedictus.
  • 3:30 pm: afternoon Breton walk in the Jardin des Plantes, for Breton speakers level 2 and up, led by Christine Le Menn.
    
    
• Sunday, May 18, 2025:
  • 3:00-5:00 pm: Gaël Bilien gives a talk on the Breton language.
  • 6:00-8:00 pm: storytelling with Jean-Pierre Mathias.

• Wednesday, May 21, 2025: afternoon, children's day
  • 4pm: dance initiation for children on boulevard Edgar Quinet, Breton shuffleboard game (to be confirmed).
  • 5pm: storytelling by Samuel Peron.
  • 7:30pm: cinema at the Mission: screening of documentaries in tribute to harpist Kristen Nogues, recently deceased guitarist Soig Sibéril and singer-poet Denez Abernot.
    
    
• Thursday, May 22, 2025:
  • 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm: Crep'Noz with Naragonia, Màden and Bagad Pariz. It's free and not to be missed on boulevard Edgar Quinet and in the streets of Montparnasse and Odessa.
    
    
• Saturday May 24, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am: fest noz vraz at the salle des fêtes of the Mairie du XIVème, with Loened fall.
