Yacht Club, Hôtel du Crillon summer terrace

It feels like summer holidays at the Hôtel du Crillon. For sunny days in Paris, it unveils – in partnership with Campari –Yacht Club a super exotic summer terrace to make you sail away. Head to the Cour Gabriel to discover this hidden spot inviting you to set sail without even leaving Parsi from June 1 to October 4, 2019.

From here, the Parisian hustle and bustle seems so far away. We swap the traffic’s hullabaloo for the pleasant sound of water while just in front of us, we discover a light well, a 2D yacht surrounded by waves created by artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet. Yes, at the Crillon, you don’t only cross boarders, you also travel through dimensions!

But Yacht Club isn’t only an invitation to sail away, it’s also a celebration: Negroni turns 100 years old. This major cocktail is the drink of the summer, it’s refreshing especially with its floral and citrus notes bond by a sweet bitterness.

And since it’s summer, it’s also the occasion to go crazy, Yacht Club also enjoys a whole quirky range of Negroni. Enjoy it revisited with mezcal, agave alcohol from South-America. This version will delight smoky flavors lovers. As for sweet toothed people wishing to enjoy a sweet and sparkly cocktail, go for the Bellini based on Prosseco and peach purée.

And is there anything better to accompany these Italian cocktails than flavors coming straight from European garden? We literally fall for the grilled squid, basil lemon and chickpeas as well as pasta à la serviette, a recipe by none other than chef Boris Campanella’s grandmother. And whoever thinks about Italy also thinks about braided mozzarella, burrata and delicious cold cut boards. And for desserts, go for some home-made ice cream.
