Polpo Nord: gourmet winter terrace 2025 with cable cars and curling rink on the banks of the Seine

After making waves this summer with Polpo Plage, the famous Levallois refuge is back with a winter version! Welcome to Polpo Nord, the pop-up winter terrace that brings a breath of fresh air to the banks of the Seine, open from Thursday to Sunday until mid-March 2026.

This urban ski resort in the heart of Hauts-de-Seine (92) features illuminated fir trees, cosy gondolas lined with (fake) animal skins and soft plaids, and even a synthetic curling rink to challenge your friends in a friendly atmosphere. All this in a magical setting that's all about the mountain spirit... without the frostbite! without the frostbite!

When it comes to gourmet food, Polpo Nord doesn't do things by halves. Comfort food takes center stage with dishes to share (or not) such as the famous tartiflette, baguettiflette—a decadent fusion of carbonara cream, Comté cheese, raclette, and fried onions—or the hot raclette & pretzel box. On Friday evenings, it's time for an all-you-can-eat raclette party for an overdose of melted cheese. And for dessert, you'll be spoiled for choice between the salted butter caramel waffle and the Nocciolata...

To raise a glass, the closed and heated bar warms things up with revisited classics: spiced mulled wine, fragrant hot cider, or signature cocktails such as the Ice Octopus, a mix of pear, lemongrass, lemon, and Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial champagne.
