The Printemps Haussmann 2025 summer terrace overlooking Paris and the Eiffel Tower

Whether you're a Parisian at heart or just passing through, get ready for a chic, sparkling summer at the top of the capital! From May 5 to September 30, 2025, the 7th Heaven terrace at Printemps Haussmann will be transformed into an ultra-stylish hanging garden: Le Picnic by Veuve Clicquot.

Here, no dull triangle sandwich, but vintage champagne, printed tablecloths and a postcard view over the rooftops of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The spot? A bubble of chic freshness perched on the 7th floor of Printemps Femme, redesigned by Maison Veuve Clicquot in a sunny, stylish collab with Souleiado, the iconic Provencal art de vivre brand.

On the menu: panoramic bar, cosy tables, flamboyant yellow parasols and tableware customized for the occasion - plates and tablecloths signed Veuve Clicquot by Souleiado, for a tasteful (and classy) toast.

And because we couldn't resist the appeal of this 100% summer chic experience, we tested the Formule Pique-nique for €45. Even if you don't get the famous "Eiffel Tower view table", don't get frustrated! The other tables offer equally stunning views of Paris's most beautiful monuments.

In the "hanging garden" theme, the team plays the game to the hilt. Dishes arrive in a real picnic basket... a chic version, in stackable stainless steel bentos...

First discovery, the top: a tomato, stracciatella and puffed buckwheat tartlet. It's fresh, delicious and far more original than a classic tomato-mozza salad.
Below, a choice of dishes. We tried the mi-cuit of tuna, bottarga, ribot milk, pistachio oil and the vitello tonnato, beautifully dressed and ideally seasoned. Both are escorted by golden, crispy and addictive fries. Don't let the box size fool you, the portions are generous.

We finish with two tried-and-tested desserts: the raspberry pavlova, mascarpone crème montée and verbena - irresistible, smooth and light, reserved for lovers of sweet treats - and the pistachio pralinefloating island , pistachio custard, a meringue version that's more classic visually but just as successful on the palate.

In short, harmonious, colorful, playful flavors, and real care in execution. The only downside is that service was rather slow during our visit. Moral: take your time, here we savor the moment... but forget the "quick lunch" option.

• Carte Jaune - the great classic: a structured, well-balanced champagne with aromas of white fruit, brioche and citrus fruit.
