Ideally located opposite the Pointe de l'Ile de la Jatte, the Polpo we've already told you about, formerly known as l'Ô Restaurant, has undergone a facelift and now offers a menu where seafood is the star.
Imagine a huge, bright, welcoming space with a natural, verdant decor by Laura Gonzalez. We love the many plants, the panoramic view over the Seine, the beautiful cast-iron liners that warm you up, the marine atmosphere, the beachside straw hut-style bar and the space so you don't feel cramped (especially if you've got wiggly kids).
The decor changes, and so does the menu, but the Sunday brunch is always family-friendly. Note that a corner has been set up at the entrance to entertain your little ones who find it hard to stay at the table (how strange...). Make-up, creative workshops, magic and board games await toddlers who want to have fun, while parents take their time to enjoy the brunch (phew!).
That's all well and good, but what's for lunch? Brunch has to be sweet: pastries, crêpes, pancakes, brioches, fromage blanc and cereals are served alongside hot drinks and freshly squeezed fruit juices.
If you're here for the marine offerings, you're in for a treat: delicious smoked salmon, prawns, oysters, whelks and other salads await you.

But meat lovers can rest assured that they'll also be able to enjoy a bit of beef on the hot side. Burger, chicken, bacon and scrambled eggs share the space with mussels and pasta.
After an obligatory trip to the cheese buffet, it's off to the homemade dessert buffet. Fresh fruit salad, tiramisu revisited, lemon tart, brownie and cheese cake were all on offer.
In short, why not take to the open seas, folks?
