Would you like some more Louvre tea? Palais des Thés has created two original teas translating in a sensory and gustative fashion the universe of the museum and the Jardin des Tuileries.

Sipping a little piece of the Louvre, how about that? Wishing to create a tea just like itself, the world’s most famous museum called in Palais des Thés to imagine what the Louvre would taste like as tea.

Palais des Thés teams have been hard at work to interpret the Louvre and its composition to translate in a sensory and gustative fashion the universe of the museum. They ended up with two very distinctive teas: the Thé du Louvre – Côté Cour and the Thé du Louvre – Côté Jardin.

  • Thé Côté Cour

Stepping in the Louvre means discovering an exceptional place telling you about the history of France and the universal story of art. Palais des Thés came up with black tea blending with citrus fruit notes and wild blackberry to add some more roundness and elegance to the tea.

  • Thé Côté Jardin

But the Louvre also is the Jardin des Tuileries. The Tuileries aisles have been inviting Paris inhabitants and tourists for centuries to relax, to grasp this poetic essence. Palais des Thés has created a delicious green tea with notes of apple, plum and quince inspired by a sweet walk between the flower beds and shady copses.

These two creations can be discovered from March 29, 2019 in Palais des Thés stores and the Louvre stores!
