Whether you prefer something sweet, savory, gourmet, vegetarian or healthy, you're bound to find something to your liking at Princesse Café! Located in the 10th arrondissement, this friendly coffee shop is ready to pamper you at any time of day! Where to go?

How about taking off on a delicious gourmet voyage? No need to take a plane! No, all you have to do is push open the doors of Princesse Café, the friendly coffee shop in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

Located on rue Bichat, Princesse Café is the friendly neighborhood spot to visit at any time of day. From breakfast to dinner, lunch to afternoon work breaks... let Princesse Café take care of you!

Behind this concept is Jules Blot. After working as a manager at Joe Allen in Paris and making several trips to Asia and the United States, this young entrepreneur decided to set up his own business and create a place that reflects his personality. " Princesse is a reflection of my background and experiences, a blend of influences and techniques I've discovered in different countries. It's often in the most modest places around the world, where there are few resources, that I've had the most wonderful culinary surprises," he explains.

Jules chose the 10th arrondissement to carry out his project, an area he knows well and in which he has chosen to give priority to local businesses and agriculture. " At Princesse, everything is homemade, and we work exclusively with fresh produce in harmony with the cycle of the seasons," he confides.

On the menu, Princesse Café offers a truly multicultural journey. While breakfast (from 9 to 11 a.m.) features toasted buns with bacon, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and red onions, or brioche perdue with red berries and maple syrup or chocolate, the lunch menu features delicious gourmet sandwiches.

Made from homemade brioche bread, this Princesse Café bestseller is available in four versions: the braised (pork belly, cheddar, grilled bell pepper, tomato chutney and pickles), the gravlax (gravlax salmon, sour cream, cucumber and pickles), the chimichurri (chimichurri marinated flank steak, genovese pecorino, crispy shallots and pickles) and finally the vegetarian version, the Halloumi, for which we literally fell in love with its grilled sheep's cheese, herbed cream, incredible red cabbage chutney and pickles.

For an extra €2, each sandwich can be accompanied by a side dish of your choice: roasted sweet potatoes, paprika potatoes, salad and pecorino, or our favorite: roasted cauliflower finished with a blowtorch and sprinkled with Guérande salt. A delight for the taste buds.

Of course, like any self-respecting coffee shop, Princesse honors real coffee, accompanied of course by a memorably moist chocolate chip cookie, also designed in-house by Jules himself.

Gluten-free vegan cookies are also available, this time from a pastry chef, as well as brownies and cheesecakes. And to accompany these plates, let yourself be tempted by a juice, again homemade. Do you prefer rose and violet or ginger and cucumber?

In the evening, Princesse goes into after-work mode with tapas to share, beers, natural wine and house cocktails. At weekends, it's brunch time. On the menu for €25? Toasted buns in salmon and scrambled egg, vegetarian or pork versions, as well as granola or chocolate waffles for a sweet treat, not to mention a freshly squeezed juice and a hot drink.

And since January 2023, Jules Blot has been setting up collaborations with young chefs from worlds as diverse as they are varied. For 3 months each, these chefs can give free rein to their imagination with several tapas dishes that appear on the menu alongside Princesse Café favourites. Chef Thomas Coupeau, from La Rochelle, started the ball rolling with a collaboration from January to March 2023.

From April to the end of June 2023, it's the turn of Jordan Moilim, chef and columnist on the TV show Très Très Bon, to take over and offer 6 hearty dishes: vitello tonnato; mac and cheese; spring toast with lemon pesto and asparagus; lasagne with ragù; tarama with yuzu and beef-cumin dumplings!

Princesse Café is THE place in the 10th arrondissement to take a gourmet, convivial break. Ready to discover it?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
