Chez Mona, the women's café next to the Jardins du Luxembourg

It's far from being an ordinary café, looking like a traditional Parisian brasserie with waiters in suits. No, Chez Mona isn't "just" a café where you can come to cowork, drink a hot cup of tea or eat a good cake, it's also a place with a strong identity that upholds the values of feminism and supports women in their projects.

In fact, Mona is first and foremost a community of women who want to devote themselves to a project that thrills them, support those of other women, meet new people and, above all, exchange ideas. Mona is located within the Cité Audacieuse, a beautiful space open to the public that works for women's rights, raises awareness and offers a whole host of events to bring more sisterhood into our lives.

The program is truly varied: from creative workshops for children to conferences, book signings, showcases, expression circles and sports classes. Please note, however, that whether you come to attend one of these events or not, the venue is only open part of the week, from Thursday to Sunday, from 9am to 8pm on weekdays, and from 11am to 8pm on weekends.

The menu includes all the essentials for hot drinks: espresso, hazelnut, latté, tea, hot chocolate, as well as spirits and softs. For lunch, we offer well-balanced vegetarian dishes, such as Italian sandwiches, Korean mini-buns with eggs, spring quiche or the comforting soup of the moment. For snacks, opt for the vegan cakes on the menu: banana bread, cookies, fleur de sel brownies. In short, it's the ideal place to spend a lovely afternoon, or to come with friends, solo... for lunch, work, a drink or a coffee.
