Le Goûter givré at Le Meurice: Cédric Grolet's frozen fruit under the palace's gilded roof

When Paris burns, Le Meurice refreshes. This summer, the palace's frosty snack takes up residence under the gilding of the Le Dalí restaurant, orchestrated by Cédric Grolet and François Deshayes. Sculpted fruit, homemade ice creams and trompe-l'œil sweets make up an icy interlude to be savored far from the heatwave, from July 1 to August 31, 2025.

Paris is melting! With the sun beating down, ice-cream shops are flourishing. This summer, head for Le Dalí, the restaurant at Le Meurice, to discover the palace's brand-new frosted snack, a fruity and icy interlude to be savored in the shade of the gilt.

From July 1 to August 31, 2025, Cédric Grolet, François Deshayes and their teams will be offering an unprecedented summer break. On the menu? Three star fruits - yuzu, passion fruit and coconut - hollowed out, iced, then transformed into single-fruit sorbets with a velvety texture and intense flavor. No blending, no artificial additives... just pure fruit. An icy wink at the cult frosted orange, revisited in a contemporary, haute couture version.

To complete the snack, a signature trompe-l'œil creation to choose from among the must-eats of the moment (Mango, Flat Peach or Pistachio), as well as a raspberry-vanilla cookie, add a sweet, regressive final touch.

And if you want to sip without overheating, there's plenty of freshness here too, from iced infusions and chocolate shakes to café affogato with homemade vanilla ice cream, whipped up by the palace's chefs.

All served in the sublime setting of the Dalí, ideal for a sweet break before conquering the Louvre or admiring the Olympic cauldron in the Tuileries.

A frosty stopover to mark in your summer diaries!
