Christophe Michalak, the famous pastry chef who left the kitchens of the Plaza Athénée to open several pastry shops in Paris - rue du faubourg Poissonnière in the 10th in 2013, rue de la Verrerie and then rue du Vieux-Colombier in the 6th - has justopened his café!
Three years after opening, Christophe Michalak decided to simply modify the structure of the first Pâtisserie (rue du Faubourg Poissonière) to offer a few seats to his loyal customers. A small victory for the frustrated ones who didn't want to wait until they got home to eat their nun!

So, next to the Kosmiks counter (desserts in verrine to be eaten with a spoon as you want where you want), Klassiks cakes for 8 people (mille-feuille on the slice, Paris Brest, lemon pie, baba, pavlova...), we find a café-tea room where the chef will propose a renewed pastry menu (with a flan, a chocolate cake to die for at 5,80€, slices of pie at 6,5€ and the excellent baba with yuzu at 9€), to be accompanied by hot chocolate praline "the best of Kosmos" at 5€, coffees, lattes and cappuccinos of madness or a Kool Me (the mango passion ginger drink at 4,5€)!
And if you already melt, you are not at the end of your troubles, the Christophe Michalak café will also presentbest of chef Michalak's salads , which we announce superbly seasoned, foccacia gorgonzola bread, roasted pears, honey-nuts (yes, we salivate too) at 5,5€, Croque M goat cheese and figs at 5€, vegetable smoothies full of vitamins, tomato-olive gougères from Kalamata at 3,5€ and even creme brulee with gorgonzola at 5€!
You will also always find his famous delicacies to nibble. The Kalin (soft bear with a marshmallow heart), the Klavier (the mega chocolate bar with milk, hazelnut and fleur de sel) or the Koonies (happy marriage between Mrs. Cookie and Mr. Brownie), without forgetting the now unavoidable Klakettes, K7, Takatartiner, chef's books and everything else.
You love Christophe Michalak 's pastries and your library is already full of his recipe books. But reading and making are not the same thing. To help you in your quest for the sublime and delicious dessert, Christophe Michalak opens this year an additional class of 8 people for his MasterClass .
Bright and relaxed rooms, a cool atmosphere with music, the decor is ideal to learn how to associate flavors, play with textures, discover ingredients and their qualities and learn how to make them. This school is unlike any other, it is the image of its creator: innovative, accessible and really nice.
