Flan classes, tastings and competitions at Hoba

If you're a big flan fan, always on the lookout for the best flan in Paris or the best recipe to treat yourself to, now's the time to get out your diary! This February 11, we're off to Chez Hoba for a 100% flan event organized by La Flanterie. For one day, you'll be able to take part in a flan-making class, take part in a competition to see who can make the best flan, and of course, taste the best flans.

Registration is required for the flan class. Learn how to make a flan with Timothy Breton, adapting it to your own tastes. 50€ for a two-hour class. You'll leave with your own flan, and join in the party afterwards.

For the competition, make your own flan at home. It must be prepared the day before, be vanilla-flavored and in a 4-person format. Then bring it to Hoba Paris between 2 and 4 pm. It is then judged by the jury on texture, visual appeal, taste and dough. All you have to do is cross your fingers to win the prize.

The jury includes Ju Chamalo, Sylvain the flan expert, Anne-Loup from Meilleur Pâtissier and Benjamin from La Flanterie, a tester by vocation.

On the performance side, you can play as a team and create your own flan with one of your subscribers. You launch a competition on your account in the story, and bring all your equipment to Hoba at 2pm on D-day, with dough prepared in advance. Visitors can then win the flan.

If you just want to taste the flans, 4 of the best patisseries will be on hand. There will also be book and goodie sales, and live music in the evening.

Program:

• 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.: flan class begins,
• 1:30 p.m.: event opens to all,
• 2pm: launch of performances (2pm-3pm, 3.15pm-4.15pm and 4.30pm-5.30pm),
• 3:30pm: DJ set,
• 5:30 p.m.: jury tasting of flans,
• 6pm-9pm: prize draw for flans and end of the event.
