After spending a night with the bears at Thoiry Zoo (78) or with the parrots at Parrot World in Crécy-la-Chapelle (77), now you can spend a night out of the ordinary at Lumigny Safari Reserve (formerly Parc Zoologique de Lumigny)! Set to open in the summer of 2024, the Kingdom of Lions hotel will let you sleep overlooking the enclosure of these majestic felines, for a night on the savannah without even leaving the Paris region.
With around 50 rooms, Le Royaume des Lions offers you the chance to spend a weekend immersed in the heart of the Lumigny Safari Reserve, in a family room for up to five people, or a premium room, perfect for two. From your room, you'll have a breathtaking view of the lions' enclosure, an immense space of around 7 hectares, where the kings of the savannah protected within the reserve live out their daily lives.
For the moment, prices for overnight stays have not yet been fixed, but for each room booked, tickets for access to the park will automatically be included on both days of your weekend (or more, if you wish to stay longer)! So, if you'd like to spend a weekend in the great outdoors at the largest wildlife reserve in the Paris region, you can already contact the Lumigny reserve to get on the waiting list (you'll be contacted as soon as bookings open), or wait until bookings open to stay at a truly unusual hotel in the Paris region.
