TheIle de loisirs de Bois-le-Roi in the Seine-et-Marne département of France, some fifteen kilometers from the Château de Fontainebleau , is renowned for its many leisure and sporting activities - kayaking, tennis, golf, horse-riding, etc. - but it's also the ideal place tospend a night in the heart of nature, for a weekend away from it all, less than an hour from Paris!
As a UCPA base, it is used to welcoming large groups on school trips or vacation camps, staying in camping or dormitoryaccommodation. For individuals, the site also boasts some fifteen gypsy caravans, ideal for families, friends or couples.
On-site facilities include a children's playground, a private beach, private parking and Wi-Fi access. If you wish, you can also request a packed lunch. Each caravan can accommodate up to 5 people, with a double bed and three bunk beds in each. Not far from the forest of Fontainebleau, this is an ideal place to spend the weekend hiking or taking a trip to the town's imperial château.
Please note, however, that reservations for overnight stays in a roulotte must be for a minimum of two nights. Only one caravan is accessible to people with reduced mobility, so be sure to specify this when booking! Prices start at around €280 for two nights, i.e. €140 per night, with little variation between two or five people in the caravan.
