In 2021, Augustin, Jean-Chrysostome and Jérôme Dumont decided to embark on the"Escales Royales" project, an accommodation option that would take them back to their roots and allow them to sleep on the water. Initially homemade, the suites are now certified by Accor Hotels to diversify the Escales Royales offering.

From now on, you can stay in a suite with or without a sauna, but still with a floating balcony, a huge double bed, everything you need for your stay (kitchenette, fridge, coffee machine...), a designer bathroom and, above all, a beautiful bathtub right in the room, so you can take a dip with a view over the Marne. In short, a concept that respects the environment, ideal for a romantic getaway in a natural setting close to Paris. " The suites have been designed as cocoons," explains Marine Vax for Escales Royale. In fact, the emphasis here is on the experience rather than the classic TV set, with a video projector in each suite for watching your current series after dark.

In terms of catering, the concept puts the emphasis on local products and short supply chains: breakfast is prepared by local caterers, as are the aperitif platters for the evening, prepared by l'Affine Bouche delicatessen (for stopovers in La Ferte sous Jouarre, book through the town's tourist office).

Expect to pay between €150 and €350 for a night in one of the Escales Royales. For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the Escales Royales. The concept also includes other suites in several ports in the Paris region: Isle-Adam, Port-Ilon, Poissy and Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry.
