Caffè Artcurial, THE hidden restaurant on the Champs-Elysées

When we say ArtCurial, most Parisians think of the Champs-Elysées auction house. They're not wrong, they're just not initiated. When we hear ArtCurial, we think of Enrico Einaudi's delicious Gnocci de la mamma, tentacolo, oven-roasted octopus, and risotto al Nero, a black cuttlefish ink risotto created to perfection by young chefs Filippo Rossato and Ilario Paravano, and served under a beautiful glass roof.

Caffè Artcurial is a restaurant to remember in Paris. Located on one of Paris's most beautiful thoroughfares (let the chauvinists have their way from time to time), the Caffè Artcurial is the refined restaurant of the eponymous auction house. Impossible to detect at first glance, you have to dare to enter the lair of the auction beast to get aseat under the sunny glass roof.

A place of rare elegance, this 1840 mansion boasts a long glass roof designed by Charles Zana, overlooking a private garden. Inside, no Michelin-starred menu, but distinguished Italian tratorria, just as Enrico Einaudi, proud owner of Caffè Artcurial and Sense Eat in Paris, likes it. This passionate Italian epicurean from Piedmont, a gourmet by nature, has put his heart into it!

As a result, Enrico Einaudi couldn't resist putting his mamma's gnocci onthe restaurant's menu, alongside oven-roasted octopus, fusilloni with veal ragout,"homemade" tajarin with black truffles (the traditional recipe for "homemade" Piedmont spaghetti with black truffles), osso buco with "Vialone nano Melotti" risotto with cuneo saffron and vitello tonnato!

To accompany his dishes, Enrico Einaudi has unearthed several fine wines, such as the Spinetta by the Rivetti brothers or a Barbaresco Bordini, a typical red made entirely from Nebbiolo grapes, a delight even with desserts, including the famous tiramisu, melting and light to perfection.

Every day from 6pm to 7pm, an Aperitivo option is available, featuring a fine plate of cured meats or mozzarella and a choice of beverage, making the Caffè Artcurial ideal for a dinner for two or with friends, under the glow of the glass roof, after a visit to the Grand Palais or before a play at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées!
