Both a cocktail bar and a restaurant, let's run to Printemps Haussmann rooftop to discover this spot with unobstructed views over Paris. Perruche, this is its name. It has been thought up by two teams: Daroco’s created by Alexandre Giesbert and Julien Ross and the one led by Gilles Malafosse and Laurent de Gourcuff.
Together, they came up with this place covering 500 sqm and most of all, it’s perched on Printemps de l’Homme-Printemps du Goût department store rooftop. Offering an awe-inspiring panoramic view, Perruche takes you to a green atmosphere thanks to numerous exotic plants.
Moving on to the menu, the rooftop bets on striking wines and quality produces and a cuisine of sharing. On the menu then? Squid à la plancha and potato aioli, pan-seared Black Tiger, virgin sauce, half-cooked tuna with sesame, Mediterranean seabass and fresh tomatoes, sour butter, and saffron risotto.
To accompany all these dishes, Perruche offers a delightful selection of cocktails by the irresistible Nico de Soto around the following theme: “Neo Tiki” (old fashioned rum, revisited piña colada and fruit daiquiri), the whole around a bar built like a pool house!
Please note that the Malafosse-Gourcuff team also works Girafe, an establishment perched on the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine rooftop.
Open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., this is the perfect spot for the views, even though the check can be steep.
