If you're on the hunt for a top-notch Breton galette in the Marais, head over to the Marché des Enfants Rouges. Since February 2025, Lulu Crêperie has taken over the spot formerly occupied by Alain Miamam, serving up galettes and crêpes with a street-food twist—totally decadent. At the helm is Lucien (hence the name Lulu), a Paris native raised in Nantes who knows his way around authentic Breton crêperies.

Lucien’s approach is centered around carefully selected ingredients. The organic buckwheat flour is sourced directly from Brittany, just like the craft cider from Sorre Cider House in Saint-Malo. For produce, he partners with Mario, the market’s trusted fruit and vegetable seller. And as for the onion confit and other preparations, everything is prepared in-house. Lucien honestly admits that by the end of the day, they sometimes run out of galettes, a clear sign of this spot's popularity.
