Just a stone's throw from Saint-Martin Market, in the heart of the 10th arrondissement, a trendy new brasserie has become a favorite spot for food lovers. Part coffee shop, part restaurant, Maison Saint-Martin is the kind of place to enjoy at any time of day — including weekend brunch!

This lively spot is a haven of good times and great food at any hour. It's the gathering place for food lovers and friends, set in a trendy atmosphere that makes it the ultimate foodie haven. The Maison Saint-Martin is a neighborhood bistro where market-fresh dishes truly shine: nestled right next to the Marché Saint-Martin with its own direct access to the market stalls.

Here, whether for lunch or dinner, diners can enjoy inventive cuisine with creative offerings that remain accessible and unpretentious. At midday, a three-course menu—entrée, main, and dessert—is available for €26.50, while choosing just an entrée and main or main and dessert costs €19.50. Considering the quality of ingredients and the originality of the menu, these prices offer good value. From morning until 6 pm every day, a coffee shop complements the menu, and on weekends, it's all about brunch featuring some of the most popular products from Marché Saint-Martin.

In the evening, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy ambitious dishes in a laid-back setting. Maison Saint-Martin isn’t afraid to break the rules and welcomes food lovers ready to join in the fun! Gone is the intimate ambiance—here, music can be felt behind the lively buzz, as guests eat well and chat loudly: that’s part of the experience.

As a starter, Maison Saint-Martin sets the tone. Forget the traditional egg mayonnaise — here, you’re treated to a creative twist on this Parisian favorite. It features a soft-boiled egg coated in crispy panko crumbs and paired with a spicy mayonnaise, just enough heat to add personality to the dish without overwhelming the palate.

We are especially fond of the ravioli filled with prawns and celery — incredibly tender and bursting with juice, truly highlighting the vegetable’s freshness. They come immersed in a delicate dashi broth infused with coconut and lemongrass, so flavorful you won’t leave a drop behind. It’s a comforting starter, lighter than a classic mayonnaise-dipped egg, for sure.

For the main course, our curiosity led us to try the scallops grilled on the plancha, served with roasted baby carrots seasoned with spices and a citrus-infused cocoa sauce. At first glance, such daring combinations might not appeal to everyone. However, in practice, all the flavors are perfectly balanced, with the freshness of the ingredients playing a key role in the dish's deliciousness. The properly controlled cooking of the meaty shellfish ensures their quality, yet the scallops take a backseat to this sauce, which feels like an extension of the festive holiday flavors.

We'll also try a more traditional dish, the calf's liver. However, just like at Maison Saint-Martin, don’t expect anything ordinary: it’s reimagined in a way that’s both comforting and nostalgic, featuring a rich, indulgent Mac & Cheese gratin, complemented by a robust jus infused with earthy morels that adds a striking touch of depth and character.

To top everything off, a hazelnut chocolate tiramisu, a house specialty, is bound to delight those with a sweet tooth who haven't quite lost their childhood wonder. This dessert takes us back to tender childhood days, with a prominent hazelnut signature.
