Armelle Crêperie is already establishing itself as a must-visit spot to enjoy authentic Breton galettes in Paris. With two locations, a focus on Breton products, homemade dishes, and innovative recipes that shake up the classics... all while staying true to tradition!

In Paris, crêpes are all over the place, but finding a truly good one... that's much rarer. With its two Parisian locations, including a beautiful corner restaurant in the 11th arrondissement, Armelle Crêperie sets the record straight. The first pleasant surprise is the spot that’s already familiar, having hosted the restaurant Marchon by chef Alexandre Marchon.

A featuring expansive windows and plenty of seating. Here, you don’t grab a quick crêpe standing at the counter—you settle in and take your time.

At Armelle, the focus is on completely homemade dishes and carefully selected ingredients. The galettes and crêpes are cooked fresh to order, made from local or Breton products, whether handcrafted or organic — from salted butter and whole milk to eggs, buckwheat and wheat flours ground on a stone mill, buttermilk, smoked Brocéliande sausage, smoked Guémené andouille, along with a wide selection of beverages including ciders, beers, liqueurs, and fruit juices.

“Kraz” Buckwheat Galettes (think crispy) and soft wheat crêpes — the foundation is already well in hand, staying true to time-honored craft. You can’t help but mention the pâte à galette, the true backbone of this house. Here, it hits all the marks: golden, well-defined, with a subtle caramelization that just catches slightly beneath the bite. The result is a 'crunchy-soft' texture with a carefully judged thickness: enough substance to feel satisfying, but never so much as to weigh down the experience.

Of course, the classic galettes are on the menu, with prices ranging from €6 to €12. Expect to pay around €10.50 for the must-try complete galette, €7 for the Breton grand-mothers' traditional milk ribot galette, and €18 for a weekly lunch special that includes a bowl of cider, a complete galette or a Mumu galette, and a chocolate or salted caramel crêpe for dessert.

What really sets Armelle apart is her ability to breathe new life into a classic. Refreshing the Breton galette is a delicate game—too much creativity, and it risks losing its essence; too little, and it becomes boring. Here, she strikes a perfect balance, with zesty condiments and inventive ideas that spark excitement and make every bite a delight.

A standout example: the Jojo galette (€13.50), a playful nod to the classic sausagette galette. It’s given a modern twist with beet ketchup, a zesty honey mustard that packs a punch, and crispy vegetable pickles. Bright, clever, and respectfully innovative — it captures the spirit while boldly stepping off the beaten path. A Breton galette clearly crafted with passion and love.

Out of the five special galettes, two are vegetarian and far from boring, like the Betty galette (€13) topped with roasted spiced squash, blue cheese cream, walnuts, and honey. Something for everyone's taste.

The same energy is evident on the sweet crepe side: their creative process doesn’t stop at the “signature” recipes (9€); even the classics (ranging from 5.50€ to 8.50€) are given a fresh twist. For instance, the lemon-sugar crepe isn’t just topped with a quick squeeze of citrus — it’s served with a bold, homemade fruit preserve that packs a punch.

The venue also offers a specialty tea time (€9.80) for a delightful mid-afternoon treat featuring a sweet crêpe accompanied by a hot cup of hot chocolate or apple juice.
