Bib & Guss, the Brasserie by Ducasse in La Défense

Here's an address to try out at La Défense. Bib & Guss, the latest addition to the Ducasse family, is a truly convivial brasserie, open non-stop from 12pm to 9pm! At Bib and Guss, you can eat and drink at any time of day, and even make appointments in a private lounge. We love the no-fuss cuisine, reasonable prices and warm welcome.

Bib & Guss is the name chosen by Ducasse Paris for its new brasserie at the U Arena in the La Défense district. With concrete walls, leather banquettes and wooden tables, the industrial style chosen by Christian de Portzamparc is in harmony with the business district and the people who move and don't stop.

For Bib & Guss, chef Alain Ducasse has imagined a fairly simple menu, with dishes to share (or not) and brasserie classics. Bib & Guss runs continuously from 12pm to 9pm. Whether it's a business lunch in a private lounge, a 1-hour lunch break, or even a late lunch at 3pm, the chef and his team can cater for every need. Classic, well-seasoned beef tartare (18€), Pâté 'grand-mère', pickles (14€), roast shoulder of lamb, yoghurt-coriander condiment (26€), melting chicken with lemon, mashed apple (20€), the dishes are tried and tested and delicious.

Ducasse is also putting his signature dishes back on the menu. Coquillettes jambon, comté and black truffle (20€), Boudin noir rissolée, salade de pomme gala (18€) and Moelleux aux chocolats de notre Manufacture (8€), classics that can also be found on the menu of Champeaux, his brasserie in the Canopée des Halles.

Although prices are a little higher than his competitors, the chef assures us that the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality (yes, the Ducasse Paris group uses the same suppliers for its 3-star restaurants as for its brasseries!)

And for aperitifs or pre-concerts at the U Arena, Bib & Guss offers 4 mini-burgers at 12€, a plate of croques-monsieur at 10€ and a cheese board at 14€, to be accompanied by a house cocktail!

We really like the gourmet formats of these dishes, ideal for an aperitif and for treating yourself to a taste of everything! The place is really pleasant, bright and lively, you'd be wrong not to try it.
