Say good riddance to tourist traps, at Mamie Colette Montmartre, pride of place is given to the authentic and genuine French cuisine. Everything is homemade, based on fresh produces and cooked with the greatest care.
Beef bourguignon, traditional aligot, south-western foie gras, broiled onion soup, old-fashioned deviled eggs… Mamie knows how to warm the bodies and hearts.
Sweet-toothed, don’t panic, the masters of the house are not leaving you behind. Each morning, the restaurant’s chef whips eggs to prepare some delicious homemade chocolate mousse. A delight you’ll tell us about later. For the others, wrap up your meal with a slice of “cheese of the moment”, served with “after-dinner liqueur” as you can only find in Paris.
All these wonders are to be eaten comfortably seated on red bench seats, homemade as well. The siblings who created this address made of it a Parisian bistro we love! And whoever says bistro also means nice prices. The starter, main and dessert set menu with kir and a glass of wine starts from €15.50. More than honest in a neighborhood filled with tourists and rather unscrupulous restaurants…
As an introduction, we owe this (very) tasty table to Colette’s grandchildren, Marine, Matthias and Olivier. “We wish to pay tribute to our grandmother’s cuisine, simple but hearty, genuine and flavorful”.
And it’s a success. See you soon, Mamie!
