Raphael H. Paris delights us with a nice fusion between Asia and France. Picture this: nice and fresh ingredients, food mixed with the best of Asia and French tradition, and the outcome is a nice range of dishes for every lunch of the week.
There are two canteens in Paris, one at 36 rue de Berri in the 8th arrondissement, the other at 7 rue de Clichy in the 9th arrondissement. At Raphaël H., you find yourself in a canteen only opening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. This is then perfect to enjoy homemade and tasty lunch at home or at work.
Note the same dishes are available in both stores, but the menu is always evolving depending on the fresh ingredients found. If you do not like surprises, note the menu is available every day on their instagram or Deliveroo if you want to get your food delivered.
Among the staple, go for the homemade gyozas. The stuffing changes depending on the chef’s inspiration.
Then, move to the exquisite Katsudon – available on the menu – the famous Japanese based on breaded pork, onions, marinated radish, rice, and eggs.
We love the cured Charolais beef Tataki, so good it melts in the mouth!
Dishes are always available in a veggie version. Therefore, the day we came, we enjoyed the fried noodles served with sweet potato falafels.
And to wrap up the meal, go for the fresh fruit salads, or the exquisite matcha tiramisu we loved.
Note that Raphael H. has a whole range of fresh and homemade drinks and iced teas, to pair your meals.
In other words, if you happen to look for an Asian canteen, you have two spots to enjoy, now!
