Found in Cantonese, Sichuanese, and Shanghainese cuisine, wontons are also very popular ravioli. Made with pork, shrimp, or bok choy, the famous Chinese cabbage, they are enjoyed fried and dipped in a more or less spicy sauce, but more commonly in acomforting soup.
In Japan, dumplings are called gyoza. Stuffed with pork, cabbage, and other ingredients, they can be steamed, fried, or pan-fried. In Tibet and Nepal, it is common to find momos in restaurants, fried or steamed, with meat, cheese, or vegetables, to be dipped in a spicy sauce.
