L’Atelier des artistes : the hybrid bar in Paris

Opened on April 11, l'Atelier des artistes (Artists' Studio) had everything to become a hot spot: an interesting place, a strong concept and fairly brilliant people behind the idea (Filipe Alves and Arthur Louvet).

If you want to discover an original and trendy place, you might want to try going in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. Named L'Atelier des artistes (the Artists' Studio), this fairly large (440 m²) place came to life thanks to two night owls: Filipe Alves and Arthur Louvet.

Designed from the start as a lively place, the Atelier des Artistes offers several areas: dining room alternating between a high bar and guest tables, a cocktail bar, as well a private room: the "Danish Suite".

Once at the bar, let yourself be guided by Sabri and Arnaud, the bartenders, who will no doubt make you perfect cocktails with Carlsberg beer.

And if the... hunger strikes, why not give in and indulge in tapas or one of the other suggestions on the menu. You will want to try this traditional menu revisited by Jaume Morera, Franco- Spanish chef.

And to understand just how original and hybrid this bar is - thereby explaining the origin of the name - just take a look at the decoration of the place: "giving free rein to artistic expression" takes all its meaning here.

Many artists and designers took part in the project. Dominique Langlois created the bar made of laminated wood, with origami shapes, Designheure made the "large clouds" chandeliers, Tank, graffiti artist, has an entire wall on which to express himself... And that's not all because you will be walking on floors by Atlas, the hand-made ceramics are Adrien De Melo work, and sculptures from Karim and Luc Berchiche, known as La Fratrie (literally: The Siblings).

For the rest... they are waiting for you at the Atelier des Artistes!
