Semi de Paris 2025: results of the must-see Parisian half-marathon

The Paris 2025 Half Marathon drew to a close on Sunday, March 9! Thousands of runners set out to conquer the 21.1 km course. We take a look at the race results for the victorious athletes.

The famous Paris Half Marathon made its grand return this Sunday, March 9, 2025! The determined participants set off from the Place de la Bastille, to cross the capital over a distance of more than 21km! An exceptional feat for many of the runners, and an opportunity to break records for the professional athletes. Cheered on by hundreds of early-morning supporters, the runners skirted the banks of the Seine, before running into the Bois de Vincennes.

No fewer than 48,000 courageous athletes set out to conquer the Paris Half Marathon on Sunday. Kenyan athlete Kennedy Kimmutai won the race with a time of 1h00'16, although he failed to break the record for the event. He was followed by two of his compatriots, Timothy Kosgei (1h00'22) and Timothy Kibet (1h00'44), making it a hat-trick of Kenyan podium finishes.

On the French side, Yoann Durand came in 8th in 1h04'03, followed in 10th place by Lucas Liard (1h04'09).

On the women's side, victory went to Kenyan athlete Jackline Cherono, who led the entire race without faltering. In doing so, she beat her personal best over the distance and took first place in the women's category in 1h07 and 18 seconds. On the podium, Ethiopia's Muluhabt Tsega took second place in 1h08'34 and Kenya's Christine Kioko third in 1h09'55. The first French runner was Marie Bouchard, who took a fine 5th place, followed by Loréna Meningrand in 9th place (1h14'18).

The Paris 2025 Half Marathon showcased remarkable performances by both men and women, underlining the sportsmanship and competitiveness of the athletes taking part in a half marathon that is a must on the international running scene.
