The Paris Marathon has announced the date for its next edition, the 50th (!): Sunday, April 4, 2027! In keeping with tradition, runners will tackle the legendary 42.195 kilometers, winding through the capital’s most prestigious avenues before crossing the finish line.
With 57,464 finishers in 2026, the Paris Marathon ranks among the world’s five largest by participation. Its distinctive route offers a true panorama of the capital, which no doubt fuels its popularity. But to know the course, you’ll have to wait a little longer, since it will be unveiled only at the start of 2027.
Regarding the registrations, they have been open since Tuesday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. until September 30 at 11:59 p.m. No need to panic, because this year brings a major novelty: participants will be drawn by lottery thanks to a lottery system. Tune in on October 1, 2026 to discover the list of lucky runners! And mark your calendars for April 4, 2027 for a new unforgettable sporting and cultural experience in the heart of Paris.
And if you prefer to run a shorter distance, then the Semi de Paris is for you. As luck would have it, the date and registration details were also unveiled on September 8!
