Canadian members of Metric are back with a new opus and a European tour stopping by Paris Trianon on Thursday November 8, 2018.

Three years after “Pagans in Vegas”, they are back on stage with a new album and a tour. They are Canadian members of Metric led by singer Emily Haines.

Currently touring in the US alongside The Smashing Pumpkins, Metric are coming back to Europe for a tour including twenty dates. From Stockholm to London without forgetting Vienna, Zurich, Glasgow, Prague, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona and even Copenhagen… the band will also stop by France twice with a first concert planned at Paris Trianon on Thursday November 8, 2018 then a second show scheduled on November 13 at Lyon Transbordeur.

The Canadian independent rock band Metric will make the best of it to promote its new album released on September 21, 2018 and already marked by the excellent single, “Dark Saturday”:

For the first time in 3 albums, guitarist Jimmy Shaw didn’t coproduce and preferred to let Justin Meldal-Johnsen do so, who – among others – worked with M83, Beck and Nine Inch Nails.

This new album has been recorded in the band’s studio in Toronto and has been mixed – for the first time too – by Tony Hoffer (Phoenix, Depeche Mode, Air…).

Don’t forget that tickets for this Parisian concert at Trianon go on sale this Friday July 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. (Paris time).
