Eurovision 2026: the running order for the 25 finalist countries, where does France come in?

We finally know the 25 countries that will battle it out this Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Vienna for the grand final of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. So when is Monroe, France’s representative, scheduled to perform? Here’s the running order for every country.

After two semifinals held on May 12 and 14, the Eurovision Song Contest is now all set for the grand final scheduled for May 16, 2026 in Vienna, Austria. This Saturday, 25 countries will go head-to-head to chase the top spot. 25 artists will pour everything into their signature tunes in the hope of lifting the trophy home. And some are perceived as favorites, like the Finnish duo formed by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, as well as the Greek contender Akylas. How about France, this year represented by Monroe? While the artist had long been a fixture in bookmakers’ top five, the young singer is now ranked seventh.

So when will we be able to support her and follow Monroe's performance on May 16 for the 70e édition de l’Eurovision? The song contest has just unveiled the order of passage for each country, often decisive in the final result.

Great news for France, as Monroe will perform in the second half of the show (specifically 15th on the bill). This running order, however, looks less favorable for France than last year. In 2025, Louane had the luck of going 24th, right at the end of the night — a slot many consider easier for racking up points.

The Finnish duo, this year’s bookmakers’ top pick, will take the stage shortly after Monroe, in 17th position. On the other hand, the Greek entrant and the Danish finalist — both also among the Top 5 favorites — were less fortunate, with their respective artists Akylas and Søren Torpegaard Lund set to be the 6th and the first to hit the stage.

Australia, which could also surprise the crowd on Saturday night with Delta Goodrem, will perform 8th. Note that Austria, the defending winner, will close the show with its song « Tanzschein ».
