Back in 2011, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris was held for the very first time in the French capital.
In just fifteen years, Pitchfork became a true institution. The webzine used to be a free platform for independent rock fans but in no time, it specialized in pop, rock, folk, electro, jazz and hip-hop music with the same special care for underground. It is now a true reference.
In 2006, the webzine organizes its first festival at Chicago’s Union Park. Five years later, the festival has good news: Pitchfork Music Festival is coming to France, in Paris at La Grande Halle de la Villette. In 2011, Bon Iver, Aphex Twin, Washed Out, Real Estate, Wild Beasts, Lykke Li and Jens Lekman inaugurated this first edition.
With the success of the past editions, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris decided to renew the experience for the seventh time that will be held from Thursday November 2 to Saturday November 4, 2017 at La Grande Halle de la Villette.
So, who will perform after M.I.A., Moderat, Chet Faker, DJ Shadow, Bat For Lashes, Daphni aka Caribou and Minor Victories? Well, The National, Run The Jewels, RIDE, Talaboman (John Talabot & Axel Boman), BADBADNOTGOOD, The Blaze and even Polo & Pan (live) will be in.
Till then, you can already book your 3-day pass at an early bird rate of €100.
