Tuileries garden Christmas market is back for our greatest joy and passersby's and tourists' joy looking for a gourmet place, games and gift ideas. After walking down the Champs-Elysées admiring the lights, head to the Tuileries Christmas village from November 15, 2019 to January 5, 2020 promising very beautiful moments again.
Like last year, it's not on the Champs-Elysées that the Christmas market is set but in the heart of the splendid Tuileries garden. And we're fine with it. Beautiful alleys safe from the road, a green setting, entertainments with views on the park and all you need to enjoy a waffle or other treats, it's a yes!
Discover the Tuileries Christmas Market:
Indeed, this year, the Tuileries Christmas Markets reprises what made its past success despite the heated situation. Paris biggest Christmas Market is more focused on quality. As much for the decor than the products available. Many French products expect you with open arms. Gastronomy comes from all over France and the merry-go-rounds and entertainments we love are back and even more beautiful to delight families.
Let’s not forget that this Christmas market is Paris most visited market. It welcomes from 13 to 15 million visitors during the season. And whatever people say, it’s an attraction very expected by walkers looking for a nice stroll and Christmas magic.
On the spot, we discover about a hundred wooden cabins offering lovely treats for yourself or someone else, crafts and nice gift ideas.
This Christmas Market aims at being festive: 10 French craftsmen (cabinetmaker, glass blower...) and designers from Paris Chamber of Commerce will show you all their know-how.
Also on the menu, many merry-go-rounds such as the flying chairs, the ghost train, mazes or the train as well as a Ferris wheel to look over the French capital during the holiday season.
Christmas decorations, gourmet cabins that have been redesigned and redecorated and of course the Christmas skating rink. This year, we can experience Christmas magic at the Tuileries. In the heart of the Christmas market also takes place a giant 500-sqm skating rink. Children and adults will definitely have a good time.
Moreover, a program of animations is planned to delight children: puppets, Christmas carols and interactive Christmas tales, everything for free for kids' and their parents' greatest joy.
If you look up, you may see Santa Claus' sled... A unique attraction in France. And go discover a gourmet market with 20 cabins gathering 20 French regions.
Among the good ideas of the market, a Wine Bar and several restaurants are on the menu to treat you. For instance, let's top by the main tent, Moule Chic', a winter cabin that sweetly smells warm dishes such as beef bourguignon, veal stew or mussels, of course.
After your walk or your ice skating session, have a stop by to enjoy a delicious board to share or a coffee with gourmet desserts at Vins de France, the wine bar near the Ferris Wheel. Unless you're more into the Champagne Bar.
And fear not for your feet, the Christmas Market alleys are paved with duckboard to make it easy even in case of bad weather.
