Les Jardins Passagers are some of the gardens at La Villette where visitors of all ages come to enjoy a bit of fresh air and greenery. 2016 L'été du Canal, l'Ourcq en Fête
The annual summer event l'Eté du Canal will take place all along the banks of the Canal de l’Ourcq from July 2nd to August 21st, 2016. This canal links Paris to Seine-Saint-Denis, and for the event it will be hosting a whole range of festive activities like water magic, boats, dancing, shows, beaches, biking and walks! So if cooling off by the water is the type of activity you’re looking for, l'Eté du Canal is for you!
Jardin Plage (Beach Garden) at the Jardin d'Acclimatation
In the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Jardin d’Acclimatation is opening a new beach space this summer called “Jardin-Plage!” Deck chairs, wading pools, water games, water misting and canons create the ultimate space for relaxation and cooling off. So grab the kids, and head to the Jardin d’Acclimatation and its carousels, petting zoos and park games this summer!

Discover Paris by Night from the Ballon Générali
The Ballon Générali is an amazing spot in Paris. It’s the world’s largest tethered air balloon, stationed in one of Paris’s parks, where groups of up to 30 visitors can be lifted up to catch a breathtaking view of the city, from about 500ft in the air, by day or by night. Try it out from May 6th to September 3rd, 2016!
Night Visits at the Parc Zoologique de Paris
The Parc Zoologique is open late on Thursdays now in June and July 2016 starting at 7:30. These new type of night visits are a great way to see the animals in a new light, as they go to bed and in the calm of the night.

The Palace of Versailles Puts on a Water Show in 2016
Stroll through the groves and fountains of the royal gardens at the Palace of Versailles to celebrate its 350th anniversary! Every weekend from March 25th to October 30th, visitors can enjoy a musical water show with more than 55 fountains situated throughout the expansive gardens. It’s a spectacular event fit for royalty!
