The show Au Pays du Père Noël(In the Land of Father Christmas), written by Olivier Solivérès, returns to the Théâtre des Mathurins from October 29 to December 31, 2025. This family production invites young and old alike to immerse themselves in the magical world of Father Christmas's house in the heart of the North Pole. After Le Bossu de Notre-Dame (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and Ados(Teens), the director offers a new theatrical adventure, designed especially for young audiences aged 3 and up.
Designed as a guided tour of Santa Claus's magical country, the show takes the audience behind the scenes of toy manufacturing. Surrounded by his elves, Santa Claus reveals his secrets: managing the lists of good children, preparing for the big night of December 24, and distributing gifts. Songs, visual effects, and interactions punctuate this festive journey, in which the participation of the young audience is an integral part of the stage show.
This year, a new mission awaits the elves: to save the magic of Christmas. The Snow Queen has warned that no snow will fall, threatening the holiday. The children must help Santa Claus restore balance to the enchanted world, amid laughter and suspense. The visual universe of the show combines colorful costumes, immersive sets, and original music for a total experience, faithful to the spirit of Olivier Solivérès' creations.
The cast includes Pascal Lifschutz as Father Christmas, Régis Chaussard (Marcus), Morgane Ricoteau-Jérôme (Chouquette), Mariette Westphal (Paillette), Marco Tarrier (Pipelette) and Vincent Gaudin (Pissette). This troupe, familiar to young Parisian audiences, continues the tradition of end-of-year shows filled with humor, rhythm, and conviviality.
