Several Sundays a month, the Château de Rambouillet organizes activities for children and families, with the Family Sundays: it's an opportunity to attend beautiful storytelling visits, from 6 years old, to discover the Château and the estate in its smallest corners, while having fun!
Hurry up and join the Countess de Marcé! Also the governess of the young Duke of Penthievre, she invites you to discover, with your family,the daily life of a prince of the blood in the 18th century. You can even discover what made his education at that time, far from our team sports classes, our life and health lessons or even foreign language lessons at the present time. Immersion guaranteed: you follow the storyteller throughout the visit (departures scheduled at 10:30 am and 3 pm every Sunday or holiday) and enjoy the fun activities set up along the way.
The month of March is already well underway, but there are still a few Sundays you can take advantage of: the 19th and the 26th in particular. Then it's off to April, where Family Sundays take place on April 9, 10 and 16, and May 14, 18, 20 and 29. Each time, the performances take place at 10:30 am and 3 pm.
The Château de Rambouillet is particularly well known for Queen Marie-Antoinette's Dairy and the Shell House, which you can visit in this exceptional former royal estate of over 20,000 hectares.
