Good plans for families: the P'tit festival and its free children's shows return on June 8

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, a family and cultural event is coming to Paris: it's the P'tit Festival, taking place in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, all day Saturday with completely free shows, from 10am to 6pm for children aged 0 to 3.

This is the 8th time that the P'tit Festival has taken up residence in the Jardin des Poissonniers, on the eponymous street in the 18th arrondissement. So, for this 8th edition, we're sticking to the P'tit Festival rule: offering a wide range of shows for toddlers aged 0 to 3, on condition that they're all free.

What's on the program? Come and see the circus, dance, theater, puppet shows, concerts, ecological workshops and book signings. For parents who wish to do so, the Protection Civile even offers first-aid training for infants.

This initiative, backed by the 18th arrondissement nursery parents' council and the Home Sweet Mômes association (with the support of the City of Paris and the 18th arrondissement town hall), has a primarily social objective, since the P'tit Festival aims to provide equal access to culture for all. It's also a way of awakening the youngest (aged 0-3 in particular) to culture, transmitting values of respect for the environment (with the workshops) to the youngest, and promoting social diversity in a rather working-class neighborhood.
