During the summer vacations, from July 12 to August 23, 2023, storytellers invade the Jardin des Plantes to tell you wonderful stories every Wednesday. All summer long, from July 12 to August 23, it's the same meeting place: with your family and especially with your children, every Wednesday at 4pm, discover the most beautiful stories about animals, nature and the forest.
It's said that the trees, bushes, birds and animals of the forests and hills are a treasure trove of love stories, adventure and fairy tales. Come and discover these tales from all over the world: traditional tales or mythology, wonderful fables or adventure novels... From July 12 to August 23, 2023, wolves, bears, foxes, hedgehogs, trees and humans await you at the Jardin des Plantes, on the lawn of the great greenhouses every Wednesday, in the beautiful stories about Nature that the storytellers from the Maison du Conte de Chevilly-Larue are preparing for you.
The sound of flutes, musical notes and songs mingle with the storytellers' narration, immersing the little ones in a marvellous imaginary world, with tales accessible to the whole family, including the very youngest, aged 6 and over! To get there, there's no need to book in advance or pay for a ticket: attending Contes au Jardin is free and open to all, so you can spend a lovely afternoon with the kids at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris!
