The Jardin des Plantes is a familiar sight when you've got kids. And yet, this cultural center never ceases to come up with new ideas to keep you, your children, nephews or grandchildren occupied throughout the summer vacations with its Nature Rendezvous.

Although Paris is far from being a haven of tranquillity and greenery, its large green spaces are nevertheless a great way to recharge your batteries for an afternoon spent strolling or reading on the grass. At the Jardin des Plantes, this is the strategy we've chosen, with the return of Rendez-vous Nature from July 5 to August 31, 2025.

What's on the program? Numerous events await you every day in the Jardin des Plantes: an original way to rediscover this emblematic green space of the capital. Enjoy a guided tour of the Jardin des Plantes or the Ecological Garden, take part in creative workshops on botanical illustration, perfume creation or participatory science... But it's also an opportunity for young and old to meet the caretakers of the Jardin des Plantes Menagerie, investigate the mysterious Dubosquet affair in an escape game, or listen to the beautiful stories of Contes au Jardin. Even more unusual, you can take a sound siesta in the Jardin des Plantes every Saturday and Sunday by putting on a pair of headphones and immersing yourself in the exploration of the Jardin des Plantes, at the height of the animals, the plants or the underground of the Garden!
