Young and old are invited to explore the world of equestrian sports on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the heart of the hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes. The program features free activities for the whole family, a delight for children, and trotting races expected to run all day! A Horse Festival promising memorable encounters and perhaps future enthusiasts, thanks to the Village des chevaux et des poneys.
The whole family will be able to discover a wide variety of horse breeds, from the smallest horse in the world to the strongest. pony rides, a carousel of wooden horses, meet-and-greets with the mascot, and creative workshops await the youngest for a magical moment, all free of charge!
As for the grown-ups, they won't be left out! It's the chance to witness top-tier trotting races — the Critériums for 3, 4 and 5-year-olds, finals of the French Sulky Championships, which bring together the best trotters of the moment, with a live Marseillaise performed by the Garde Républicaine to make the stands vibrate. For the bravest, try a baptême de sulky biplace, accompanied by an experienced driver!
Take advantage of guided tours of the stables or a follow-me bus tour that stays right on the peloton’s tail, but be sure to book your seats in advance. New this year, an interactive space with an immersive experience that puts spectators at the heart of the legendary Prix d'Amérique Legend Race, as if they were there, plus quizzes, a game in the spirit of "Who is it?" to match the yearling to the champion, and a contest to name a foal born in 2027 that begins with the letter R!
