Les Chevaux dans la Ville: free equestrian parades and events on Place de la Concorde

France Galop leaves its racecourses and settles on the Place de la Concorde for two days open to all. On September 5 and 6, 2025, this free event will bring horses to the heart of Paris, for a great popular celebration of the equestrian world and horse racing, in an ephemeral village where the general public will enjoy freeevents and demonstrations.

Inspired by racecourses, a huge presentation ring will host parades of horses and jockeys, to the delight of young and old alike. Visitors will be able to get up close to the horses, enjoy family activities, learn how to ride a jockey, admire equestrian demonstrations or former racehorses converted to other sports, and find out more about the industry by talking to professionals, so that visitors can discover racing in a different way.

Also on the program: an equestrian show by stuntman Mario Luraschi, on Saturday September 6 at 3:30 p.m., a carousel, Pony Cycle races, and from 6:30 to 8 p.m., a DJ set. It's enough to whet the appetite for future events, a month before the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the world's biggest gallop race.

Friday, September 5th

• 11:00: Horses enter the presentation ring 5 minutes later, jockeys mount up!

• 12.00 pm: Opening of the event in the presentation ring.
• 12:30 pm: Parade of apprentice jockeys and horses from Afasec and Au-delà des Pistes.
• 2:30 pm: Distribution of carrots for the "Au-delà des Pistes" horses in the presentation ring.
• 4:20pm: Distribution of carrots for the horses of the "Au-delà des Pistes" association in the roundabout.
• 5:15pm: Speech by the Fédération Nationale des Courses Hippiques.
• 6:00 pm: Children's parade with apprentice jockeys in the presentation ring (open to all children, free of charge, with registration).
• 6.25pm: DJ set

Saturday, September 6th

• 11H00: Horses enter presentation ring 5 min later, jockeys mount up!

• 12:00 pm: Intervention by a steward, veterinarian, jockeys and breeder
• 3:30 pm: Mario Luraschi equestrian show in the presentation ring
• 6:05pm: Speech by Mickael Seror and a training rider.
• 4:00 pm: Distribution of carrots for the horses of the "Au-delà des Pistes" association in the presentation ring.
• 5:00 pm: Kids' race in the presentation ring (open to all children, free of charge on registration).
• 6:00 pm: Children's parade with the jockeys in the presentation ring (open to all children, free of charge, upon registration).
• 6.25pm: DJ set
