Sunday Croq’Musique invites children aged 3 to 12 to discover classical music through workshops followed by a concert at Salle Cortot, in Paris’s 17th arrondissement. Led by violinist and music educator Solesne Loy, the En rythme avec Croq’Musique association is organizing this inaugural season with the École normale de musique de Paris.
The next session, on Sunday, November 15, 2026, is themed Let’s Play with Rhythms. The workshops take place in small groups in the school’s classrooms, with the entrance at 114 bis Boulevard Malesherbes. They combine listening, singing, movement, and hands-on activities.
For ages 3–5, Tap, Jump, Shake is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., and Dance! from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. Children ages 6–12 can take part in Musical Times Up from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., or Behind the Scenes of the Concert from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
At 5 p.m. on Rue Cardinet, Mystery at the Concert invites children to find missing piano keys through riddles and musical challenges. The concert lasts an hour and is followed at 6 p.m. by a chance to meet the artists.
The workshop and concert package is listed at €15. A concert-only ticket costs €20 at the regular rate or €10 at the reduced rate, including for under-18s. Workshops and the concert require separate bookings: links are available in the day’s program. The concert takes place at 78 rue Cardinet. Salle Cortot is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The season continues on January 17, 2027 with an introduction to musical instruments, on March 14 with a symphony of notes, on April 25 with a musical stroll, and finally on June 13 with You’re the Artist!.
